TruStone Financial Foundation Donates to PRISM

PLYMOUTH, Minn. (Oct. 9, 2019) — In celebration of TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union’s 80th anniversary, each branch of the credit union is selecting a local charity to receive a $1,000 donation from the TruStone Financial Foundation. As part of this initiative, TruStone Financial’s Golden Valley branch recently selected PRISM to receive a donation from the Foundation.

For nearly 50 years, PRISM has helped support people in the northwest Twin Cities suburbs who are going through financial hardship. Each year, they provide food for more than 6,000 people, help 120 families obtain stable housing, supply 250 families with clothing and give 1,000 children school supplies and birthday gifts, among other acts of service.

“PRISM helps so many in the greater Minneapolis area,” said Joleen Morgan, manager of the Golden Valley TruStone Financial branch. “It is a resource that is so needed in the community. It helps keep people healthy, thriving and in homes.”

Brianna Miller, Advancement Director at PRISM, thanked TruStone Financial for the donation. “The donations that TruStone makes have gone to help so many people and families in our community. We are proud to be working with TruStone and welcome them to our location any time to help out,” she said.
